In a little over 12 months, Tradesales has outgrown its Victorian office and have moved to new premises in Derrimut.

According to Tradesales National Sales Manager Jay McEwen, it has been a busy 14 months.

“In October last year, we moved into our 12,000 square metre factory, which immediately allowed us to increase efficiency and throughput. The larger factory is the cornerstone of our five-year growth plan,” said Jay.

At about the same time, the company moved into its Melbourne office in Keilor Park.

“After a long period of market research, we decided to move into Melbourne to better service the construction and logistics industries as well as the defence sector and other government departments,” said Jay.

The company’s market research was spot on, as Tradesales has seen a rapid uplift in sales in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland and has outgrown the Keilor Park location in a little over 12 months. Tradesales has also brought its sister company, RETRA Fluid Handling Systems, along for the ride, bringing on a dedicated business development manager to grow the brand.

“Our new Tradesales and RETRA premises in Derrimut is much bigger and includes enough warehouse space to hold stock of key products. Plus, we’re also outfitting a portion of the space with a workshop so that we have another manufacturing facility to support our main factory. This is great news for clients with projects that have tight lead times or jobs that only require minimal customisation,” said Jay.

“With products already in every state and territory, Tradesales has always been a national supplier. This new location and increased capacity will help further increase that capability.”

The new premises are open and can be found at 140 Castro Way, Derrimut, Victoria 3026.
